During the 82nd edition of the Grape Festival in Gambellara, on the last Sunday of the September, there have been the Wine Challenge reserved to the Recioto producers of the area.

The jury, made of expert wine makers, have chosen as best sparkling wine the Gambellara Winery Recioto, according to the very positive opinions of this wine.

Sparkling Recioto is different from the other sparkling wines because it is obtained from Garganega grapes growing on the hills, left to dry in a windy store from September to February; this typical process gives to the wine a strong gold yellow colour, intense parfume with raisins and frutiy notes, sweet taste; it is full and smooth, with a pleasant bitter after taste.

You have to know this wine very well; after the first sip you love it or you hate it.....
